Welcome to ACRONYM. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between Reformer Labs Inc. ("ACRONYM," "we," or "us") and you ("User" or "you") governing your use of the ACRONYM platform and services (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration and Security

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

  • Credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to keep it updated.

2. Usage Rights and Restrictions

2.1 License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

2.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to transmit malicious code.

  • Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service to third parties without our consent.

  • Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.

3. User Content and AI Services

3.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the data, files, and text you upload or input into the Service ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, and process your User Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

3.2 AI-Generated Content

ACRONYM utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate outputs ("Output").

  • Ownership: As between you and ACRONYM, you own the Output generated by your use of the Service to the extent permitted by law.

  • Accuracy Disclaimer: AI services may produce inaccurate or offensive content. ACRONYM does not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated Output. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all Output before use.

4. Third-Party Integrations (Google & Others)

4.1 Google Services

Our Service integrates with Google APIs (Gmail, Calendar, Drive). Your use of these integrations is subject to these Terms and Google's Terms of Service.

Data Handling: Our access to and use of Google User Data is strictly governed by our Privacy Policy, which adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.

4.2 Other Integrations

If you enable other third-party integrations, you acknowledge that we do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or data practices.

5. Subscription and Billing

  • Fees: Access to certain features requires a subscription. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described on our pricing page.

  • Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial periods unless required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

ACRONYM and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all related intellectual property rights. The ACRONYM name and logo are trademarks of Reformer Labs Inc.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ACRONYM be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim or $100, whichever is greater.

8. General Provisions

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.

  • Modifications: We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
