ACRONYM's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This means that:

  • We Do Not Sell User Data: We do not sell or trade Google user data to third parties.

  • We Do Not Use Data for Ads: We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.

  • Restricted Transfer: We do not transfer Google user data to others unless necessary to provide or improve authorized features, comply with law, or as part of a merger/acquisition.

  • Restricted Human Access: We do not allow human access to your Google user data unless required for security purposes, to comply with law, or with your explicit consent for troubleshooting.

3.2 Authorized Google Scopes and Specific Use Cases

When you connect your Google account, we request the following specific scopes solely to provide the functions you enable:

You maintain full control and can revoke ACRONYM's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

We integrate with AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) to power intelligent features.

  • Explicit Consent: We obtain your explicit consent through clear in-app notifications before transmitting any content to these providers for processing.

  • Limited Data: Data shared is limited only to the content necessary for the specific AI feature you are using.

  • Review Policies: Your use of these features is also governed by the respective AI provider's privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

Important: Google user data is NOT used to train AI models. Data sent to AI providers is only processed to generate outputs for your immediate use and is not retained for model training purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics), under contract and subject to confidentiality obligations.
